The Felder G480 edge banding machine is a compact edge banding machine, meeting the maximum production needs, integrating corner stripping and rounding milling functions. The Felder G480 edge banding machine offers great flexibility when there is an available opening for the finishing sections.

Main functions of Felder G480 machine

1. Pre-milling: The pre-milling unit with 2 diamond-shaped blades and pre-milling unit of Felder G480 ensures that chipped edge is only a thing of the past.
2. Pressure roller system: Pre-stressed mechanical thread presser, with 1 straight thread presser and 1 rubber thread presser. The compression spring system ensures perfect adhesion of the board edge and thread. Thanks to the “Quick-set” setting system, thread thickness can be adjusted in accordance with simple and quick operations .
3. 45-degree end trimming (optional unit): Precise linear orientation ensures perfect cutting edges. The cutter moves at a 45-degree angle to ensure the smoothness and aesthetics, and the cutting angle can be adjusted to 20 degrees for thin edge banding threads.
4. Upper and lower millings: It is possible to change curved, beveled, straight profiles thanks to the quick-set system “Quick-set”. Two separate high-speed motors ensure perfect milling of any edge banding material.
5. Corner rounding milling: Reducing the workpiece processing time after edge banding, the corner rounding milling unit is capable of processing only 0.4 – 3 mm thick and up to 30 mm high without reducing the edge banding speed. linear guide system and alloy cutter ensure long-term precise operation.
6. Excess glue scraper: can be adjusted by replacing depending on production requirements, removing residual glue on the surface of the board edge.
7. Edge polishing, polishing agent spraying, polishing units (optional upgrade unit): a complete trio of upgrades for the finishing step, a curved edge polishing unit that helps to remove excess glue and wood dust during the banding process, ensuring that the edge is always smooth from every angle. The polishing agent spraying and polishing units run smoothly for a nice polished edge and a glue-free workpiece surface.
