The “X” configuration of the bearing optimally distributes the workpiece weight to all sides, with the full width of the bearing in contact with the guide groove. There is no single point of contact between the bearing and the guide rail as found on conventional ball bearing systems, the rolling bearing will never wear the groove into the guide rail. Grooving: The Kappa 550 X-motion has grooving capabilities, used with the large Format4 dado cutter head. With a special design, guaranteed precise saw marks from 1/4”–3/4” (6–20 mm).

Powerful and effective scoring saw blade, between two high-performance scoring units: Classic, automatic. Both saw blades combine transmission technology and reliable operation for perfect scoring results. That is guaranteed with a 5-inch diameter scoring blade and a speed of 10300 rpm (60Hz).

The barrier is positioned by a motor and runs through a dust-free integrated ball spindle in the saw table. Accuracy of 1/10 mm, high positioning speed, as well as simultaneous positioning of cross-section fences. Saw blade height and blade angle ensure accuracy and save valuable working time.

Length compensation angle: The digital angle and length compensation module for X-shaped or parallelogram racking panels compensates for any changes in the length difference of the cross-section fence installation when the angle is changed. Direct access with the controller also allows it to compensate for the position of the crosscut fence in relation to the width of the tooth and the angle of the saw blade. This ensures that you always get accurate measurements without recalibration when using different saw blades.

Parallelogram outrigger table: Infinitely adjustable range from –45 to +45°. With the LED display, customers can set the required angle to be accurate to 1/10 degree. With electronic movement models, this is integrated into the TFT display. Bevel length compensation is done via gauge with standard fence, with CNC cross-section fence, the length compensation is automatic.
